Friday Flavor: Strawberries

Summer is almost over.  I don't know if I should be happy or sad about that.  The closer I get to winter means the closer I get to my first looong winter in Minnesota.  So, I decided to do strawberries for this Friday Flavor.  They are a staple for every summer and they are one of my favorite colors.  How could you not like the deep reds they produce?  Everything is better in red.

I don't know why, but I have always wanted one of these wax stamps.  I know I would love getting a letter with a wax seal on it.

That wallpaper is amazing.  I love the retro vines!  For some reason they remind me of Mario Bros.

I want an old school car so badly.  And this red interior would be perfect.

I love seeing people fix up old furniture.  I need to do it, too.  This vanity is so pretty!

I have really been wanting a scooter lately.  I think I might be too chicken to get a motorcycle and I'm a little scared about riding an actual bike in the city.  I think these are a perfect medium.

Sigh.  This reminds me of fall.  I love the fall, but I'm sad I'll be having my last one in NC this year.

Emma Stone looks AMAZING on this Vanity Fair cover.  When I first saw it I didn't even recognize her as a blond!

I don't know how to make these, but this Little Red Riding Hood is adorable.

I love everything about what this girl is wearing.  Outfit, make-up, hair and bike.

I don't know anything about Blythe dolls, but I have become curious about them since I see them on so many blogs I read.  I really liked this one.  She's cute!

This is one of my new favorite color combinations.  And the artwork itself is a really good idea.

I want to be this woman.  She looks sexy as hell just sitting looking at records.

Friday Flavor: Blueberries

I'm so happy to get back on track to blogging.  Even, though I've written almost everyday this week, it feels like I have missed a couple of days.  Kind of strange.  Today's Friday Flavor is Blueberries!  I never had raw blueberries until I met my husband.  I know...  I don't know how that happened.  I never had avocados either!  But, blueberries are my favorite now.  Especially mixed with oatmeal and honey in the morning.  Good breakfast.

I LOVE this Ikea furniture for kids.  I want to paint my daughter's room like Hello Kitty's and buy this furniture in pink!


This doesn't even look like a real person.  The make-up is awesome!  Don't know where I would wear it out to, though.  And her hair is really pretty.


Polka dot dresses are always cute.


This is what I'll be doing after I have my daughter and have my 6 week postpartum appointment.  Hopefully, I'll look a little better than this.  I must seem like an alcoholic to some of you.  Its been 8 months!  I miss my PBR!

Friday Flavor: Pluot

My inspiration this week comes from pluots.  Have you ever heard of these?  They are a mix of a plum and apricot, but there are so many different kinds.  My husband and I went to our grocery store yesterday and they had so many different flavors.  I really recommend if you can find them, to try a flavorosa pluot.  They are incredible delicious.  It tastes like grape candy.  They also have a really pretty color.  They are a deep purple just like plums, but they are also purple on the inside.

This sunset is so gorgeous!  I wish I could see something like this!

I really want to try a color like this in my hair.  Cotton candy hair is so cute.

Purple eyeshadow is my favorite.  I used to hate the glitter because it reminded me of the early 2000's, but this is too pretty to say no.

I love houses like this!  So much personality!

This fabric is called "Queen of Hearts in Plum."  Such a perfect name.

I really love these dresses.  They remind me of cigarette girl dresses.  Only thing missing is the little hat.

I know I have said this before, but I really want a bike!  I need one when I move to Minneapolis.  Not sure where I would put the kiddies, though.  I might have to buy those pull along tent things that connect to the back.

I love this woman.  Not only for incredible voice, but her attitude about how she looks.  "My life is full of drama, and I won’t have time to worry about something as petty as what I look like. I don’t like going to the gym."  At least she's not afraid to say it!

Friday Flavor: Tangerine

I am really excited about these pictures I found.  Orange is such a pretty and bright color.  But, it either works or it doesn't in situations.  And all these pictures definitely work.

I have been seeing a couple of blogs talking traveling around and selling their vintage goods in one of these things.  That is such an amazing idea!  Sometimes I really wish i didn't have kids so early, so I could have done all that type of stuff.  Oh, well, I'll just have to get this one and do it in my 40s.  

I think if I had a teapot I would drink more tea.  Especially if it was this one.  I also wouldn't mind having the fabric.

I love this necklace.  The color combo is amazing.  See how I used it in the title?

I might be a loser for liking shoes that look like Keds, but I can't help it.  They look really cute with no socks on and shorts.

Wish I had thousands of dollars to completely redecorate my house.  I would buy lamps for every room like this.

This picture is so pretty.  The details are so awesome.  Especially the freckles.  I would love orange hair and green eyes!  The artist did such an amazing job of the light reflections on the lips, skin, and hair.

Not sure if I could pull off this orange hair, but this girl did.

More orange housewares!  I can't get enough!

I really love this work space.  Its so minimalist, but it works beautifully.

Orange lipstick is a HUGE example of where it works, or doesn't.  This outfit and styling goes so well with this lipstick.  I would wear it if I could have this outfit and sunglasses.

I had to add this because this kitten was adorable.  Even with its lazy eye.

Friday Flavor: Banana Pudding

It still amazes me that I used to hate yellow.  It is so pretty!  And it makes everything bright and cheery which I could really use sometimes.  I am in love with the vintage inspired kitchen.  Its so warm!  And the bee necklace.  So adorable!
